Askey Joins Hands with NTT EAST to Set up a New Benchmark for Local 5G Innovative Applications

TAIPEI, Taiwan, July 30, 2025 – Askey is thrilled to announce that Askey and NTT EAST, Inc. (NTT EAST) have successfully completed tests for Local 5G End-to-End Solutions, setting up a total local end-to-end solution after the cooperation for one and half year. This Solution will be launched onto NTT EAST’s GigaRaku 5G Select service by the end of 2024 to formally market in the Japanese local 5G market.

The core of this project is to create a price-competitive local 5G solution, which integrates Askey’s self-developed 5G Private Network Management Platform (AMP), a diversified 5G CPE devices, and stable efficient 5G Small Cells. This Solution aims to meet the needs of the Japanese market for a wide range of applications, such as smart manufacturing, smart agriculture, smart logistics, smart healthcare, smart transportation and green energy. Through working inseparably and integrated both advantages, Askey and NTT EAST leverage each other’s expertise in 5G technology, network design and maintenance, infrastructure and application development to build a highly efficient, stable and versatile local 5G network system, providing local operators and enterprises to deploy their networks agilely.
