Pioneering Enterprise Wireless: Askey and Chunghwa Telecom Launched the First Domestic Diversified Enterprise Private Network Solution

In order to help enterprises build a more efficient and stable wireless network environment, Chunghwa Telecom and Askey jointly launched the 5G and Wi-Fi domestic “Diversified Enterprise Private Network Solution”. It integrates 5G mobile communication and Wi-Fi wireless technology, leveraging the expertise of both companies in telecom services and network equipment, to create a domestic, secure, efficient and resilient indoor wireless solution for enterprise users, accelerating the pace of enterprise digital transformation.

High-Performance Wi-Fi EAP Provides Overall Coverage and Flexible Streaming
Chunghwa Telecom introduces Askey’s newly launched enterprise-grade tri-band Wi-Fi EAP, which has sufficient bandwidth and high power output with a maximum output up to 28dBm, and provides wide-area signal coverage and reduces dead spots and interference, especially suitable for large spaces such as offices, large shopping malls, factories, and more. In addition, the device supports mesh connecting enhancement, which allows up to three layers of wireless hopping and simultaneous connection of up to nine devices, further enhancing overall network resilience and backup capability. Based on Chunghwa Telecom's rich technological background, EyeSee, a device management platform integrates various wireless technologies of 5G and Wi-Fi, allowing users of enterprise private networks to unify the different wireless technologies to utilize the internal resources of the enterprise, and different wireless technology devices can also communicate with each other. This unified platform management can thus improve the efficiency of IT staff and enhance the coverage and deployment flexibility for enterprises.

Simplify Maintenance Processes, EyeSee Platform Integrates 5G and Wi-Fi Management
Askey Wi-Fi EAP is equipped with built-in controller (AC) design without the need to deploy additional AC devices, and allows any AC-capable Wi-Fi EAP to centrally manage the Wi-Fi settings, simplifying the network deployment process. It is also equipped with a dedicated scanning module, performing perimeter Wi-Fi scanning without interrupting the main connection and improving security and network optimization. For the management, Askey provides customized SNMP integration with Chunghwa Telecom's EyeSee management platform, supporting simultaneous monitoring of 5G and Wi-Fi devices for keeping track of Wi-Fi EAP status, connected users, whitelists, and bandwidth on-demand management in real time by IT staff. All statistics can be feedback to the cloud for centralized management and operated through an intuitive web interface, suitable for single-site or multi-site enterprise environments.
