Chunghwa Telecom has chosen Askey as its preferred partner for the “5G Private Network Backpack 3.0” solution, a highly mobile and ready-to-deploy solution for 5G private network. This compact system integrates a 5G core network, base station, and application services into a backpack-sized unit. It features a built-in 5G Sub-6GHz small cell, 5G baseband, radio, and antenna, along with satellite transmission support, ensuring reliable, high-coverage 5G private network services in any environment.

Designed for high mobility, the Backpack 3.0 is ideal for disaster relief, military communications, and mobile private networks. It enables rapid deployment of internal and external communications while landline or mobile network outages, ensuring the transmission of data and voice at critical moments. Compared to its predecessors, the Backpack 3.0 is significantly lighter, more compact, and more rugged, offering enhanced durability and performance in extreme environments.
